Action:

The two patented active ingredients contained in Kolanol - intact collagen type 2 (UC-II) and micellar extract of turmeric (NovaSOL) act synergistically to restore the normal condition of joints, tendons and cartilage and help to improve mobility.

Five types of collagen are known in medicine. But only one of them - that of type II - is responsible for the health of joints, tendons and cartilage. Intact collagen type 2, also called undenatured, contained in Colanol, is extracted from chicken and fish cartilage using a patented low-temperature production process. With it, the natural three-dimensional helix of collagen remains unaffected. Thanks to it, upon entering the small intestine, intact collagen type 2 causes an immune reaction (oral tolerance). Special cells of the immune system (Treg) are activated, which have the ability to stop the process of degradation of joint cartilage and, with prolonged exposure, turn it in the direction of reactivation of natural collagen synthesis in the body. As a result, the self-repair and reconstruction of cartilage tissue is stimulated.

Intact type 2 collagen is highly effective at low doses - only 40 mg per day (exactly as much as is contained in 1 Kolanol capsule). This is due to its unique mechanism of action.

The effectiveness of Kolanol is further enhanced by the presence of the highly concentrated NovaSOL turmeric micellar extract - a rich source of curcumin. Turmeric has been known to medicine for centuries for its beneficial effects on health. It is also called "liquid gold" or "golden milk". Curcumin has a powerful antioxidant effect. Laboratory tests show that 500 mg of micellar curcumin is equivalent to approximately 5000 mg of natural, raw curcumin powder.
